Anyone tried the Musikraft Blackguard Necks or Bodies yet?
I'm looking to build a blackguard clone and was wondering if anyone has tried these.... |

The Blackguard necks are well made but if you're looking for a real clone them make sure you specify the staggered/stepped tuning peg holes as they some straight-drilled as standard.
I'm not sure I buy all the hype about the exact Blackguard Book shapes but they appear to be comfortable to hold (But I love the early neck shapes anyway).

I just got a blackguard neck and body. The tuner holes came stepped on the neck.
One thing I requested was no "oversized" neck pocket. Musikraft has always obliged me in little changes on orders even if I called after I changed my mind a little a few days after ordering online. I got one of the 53 neck profiles. Not huge like current Nocasters. Feels just right. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again but I might have opted for 6105 frets instead of the vintage size this one has. |

The fit is nice and tight. The "oversize" neck pocket I was referring to is the little lip you can see looking straight down at the front of the body.
Got these bare but have bought Musikraft necks finished before and they were all really nice. I'm sure their body finishing is just as good. |

Anybody have any problems fitting hardware to these bodies? I just purchased a Butterscotch 60's modern style body and was worried that maybe i'd put down 40$ on a bridge and it wouldn't work.
