Met Chihoe Hahn and his creations today!

So I was at the Montreal Guitar Show today being dumbfounded by the luthier skills of so many acoustic guitar builders when I wandered over to the electric guitar room to see many "pretty" guitars but only a handfull that had looks, sound and feel.

Then I saw and tried those boring old T-styles (228s) of Mr. Hahn.

Let me say that this very nice gentleman can build a guitar of exceptional quality. I would go so far as to say "Leo got the design right, but Chihoe to the time to execute it to its very best potential."

I am not worthy. (but I'm saving up.)

Oh, not another GAS-inducing Hahn thread!!! You guys have to stop this. I can't afford it.

That said, I'm already planning for a 228 in Mary Kaye transparent white. Redd Volkaert played a Hahn like that in NYC a few weeks back and I've been drooling ever since .

Whatever you do, don't play one!!! There seems to be a very short time line between playing one, and owning one.

I wouldn't dare! If these things were for sale in the Guitar Center down the street, I'd already be 3K in debt.

Mmm 7 pounds, fat neck, Mary Kaye white, all Hahn-made hardware.

Let's just say it was alot better than "OK"

The sparkle gold was beautiful too.
