Rejoined the Tele Club

I just got a 90s MIJ fernandes telecaster after not having a tele for 7 years. I think it's a great guitar. For those that are familiar with them, if I spend less than 500 am I likely to get anything better from fender/squier?

TBH, probably not. Maybe the CV Tele, but it'd be close.

I love those Fernandes copies. Great guitars.

Welcome back. Nothing like having a Tele in the arsenal. I agree with Derek, the CV would the closest if not better. I wouldn't mind a Fernandes (lawsuit) one myself.

Sometimes you see MIJ Teles listed on eBay with non working electronics. Since I replace stock pickups anyway, it would suit me. Just an idea.

Yeah, I played a classic vibe tele. I liked it but I think I like the fernandes better. I've heard they're just as good quality as fender 90s MIJ. I've had a few of those strats and it sounds about right.

It's a good guitar, I'll most likely keep it, I was just wondering. I'm really loving playing it.

I had a lawsuit fernandes strat, it had really great tone but it wasn't really a standard strat, it had a lot of weird measurement differences.
