Get it...and go back to Esquire. You'll never regret it.

Do I take it that you are right handed and this is a lefthanded guitar?

I'd still get it in an instant if it was at a price I could afford. That is one gorgeous Tele/Esquire, and it would be a simple job to swap the nut, restring it right handed, and tweak the intonation a bit. Sure you would have a bit more of the top horn in the way of the high notes, but who needs fret access, when you have TONE!!!

If it was THE tele, and it was a good price, I'd buy a lefty and play it right handed without a doubt.

In fact I am still looking out for a nice lefty tele to play righty, because I think they look and feel way cooler than flipped Strats

I am a lefty, that's what's killing me. I could swing it but I'd have to sell everything but my '52..It may be worth it....I'm sweating thinking about it..

Yeesh, that's a HOT guitar!!! I love it!

I'm a lefty by nature who learned to play righty, right from the start.

If I had that baby, I think I'd RE-LEARN lefty just so I could play it "properly" !!

You must get it if you can....

Being a lefty, I can definitely say....buy that sucker!! Sell things if you have to (with the exception of kidneys and the '52 you mentioned).

NICE! I don't know what he's asking, but if it's not too crazy I'd jump on that! I've been looking for a nice vintage lefty forever and they just DON'T show up. You can always sell it in a few years for more than you paid for it.

Are you part of the lefty club in the guitar owners page? join the party. If you could swing it buy it. I would love to own a real vintage tele. someday..but as the other guys say if you could sell off gear to make a purchase..I say don't sell gear you might one day regret selling. I regret selling a few Fender amps. But I sold those to add to the down payment on house.

Just do it, Ricky!!!!! But you have to keep that other Esquire too. That thing sounds unbelieveable with that Eldred mod you did. Find a way!!!!

Hey Matt,
Did you see the question I asked about the natural finish on 60's Teles?
