New hahn in the house!!!
without further ado:
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This arrived about an hour ago, and after I had stopped shaking and pinching myself, I plugged it into a '63 vibrolux and twanged for nearly an hour. Just playing low string notes on the bridge and letting shimmering chords ring out, eyes closed in sheer awe of the beauty of this instrument. here's the specs: regular modern C-shape neck rosewood board medium jumbo frets swamp ash body custom shell pink finish seymour duncan vintage minibucker in the neck seymour duncan custom-wound (personally by seymour himself) bridge pickup. no others exist in the world. switchcraft jack hahn bridge vintage tuners cut-down scratchplate lots of other win. I cannot believe I own this. this is actually too awesome for words. |

i would kill for a pint, a pie and a chelsea game down at my local again. but this guitar more than compensates for that mild frustration. |

May you use it to unleash The Wrath of Hahn.
(sorry, couldn't resist) But seriously, great to see the guitar landed in such deserving....hahnds. (Isn't that how you Brits would pronounce it anyway?

Very tasty indeed; I know you'll put it to some real fine use!
Sol, by the way, is this a "228" or is it different enough to get its own model name? "Custom" I Spoze. :^) :^)

i just spent te best part of half a minute rubbing your signature with my finger. fail. but nah it's not an endorsement, just a kind of mutual appreciation type thing; one of those awesome deeds that all good people do a handfull of times throughout their lives, and now i have something that I will cherish and love for the rest of my life; while giving a beautiful guitar a beautiful history which will be weel documented. this is my deed back to Chihoe, for him to see me do wonderful things with his guitar. |

Blimey Sol, is this a record ? 38 posts and not one negative comment !!, that IS a peachy looking Tele mate, hope you and it have lots of good adventures.
Now, just to keep the average up :- That thing looks like a sack of pooh and sounds like an EBO crossed with a dying swan and it doesn't even have a black pickguard !! There, normalcy is resumed .........

OK, I wish the "H" on the headstock was smaller.
But seriously, that is one fantastic-looking instrument, and the different pickguard gives it a really cool and unique design touch. |
