A specific type of blonde

I noticed that most blondes look kind of pale, others are too transparent while others are too yellowish (which I kind of like, btw).

I was wondering what models does fender offer nowadays with this specific kind of blonde?

Just the road worn series?

My Baja has about the same level of transparency but the colour is stronger - slightly more orange.

Nice picture by the way - thanks.

I dunno if the white undercoat makes the RW end up photographing more yellow that this here Buttergirl, but she's No-caster yellow with more grain showing in person, with your eyeball right on the guitar:

With my monitor, your RW has an almost orange aspect to it. I guess it has to do with HOW you achieve the color effect: Blonde over natural wood or Yellow over whitewash. What I need to do is, shoot this guitar and its twin (and the No-Caster) against a darker background.

Here's my "Bananacaster"- a 2003 Hwy. 1 Texas model.

She's even yellower in person, and is now wearing a tortoise PG to tone 'er down a bit.

I actually like it too.

I colour corrected the photo to remove the cast - it looks like it was taken under tungsten light. I think this is more accurate but no guarantees.

Yes, I find that the baja has a stronger color and it's not quite what I REALLY like.

Your welcome! I saw the pic at another forum and thought "DAMN! This is THE color!".

That one is quite nice but it looks a little pale in comparison (no pun intended).
Yes, bring on the pics!

That's very nice! I like it too! That way it's very nice but I wouldn't want it to be yellower.
I don't like tortoise guards :(

Yeah, that looks a lot like the Road Worns I've been seeing at Guitar Center.

When you slap a white guard on Honey Blonde it has the look you're going for. It really yellows up. When you put a black guard on, it mellows down a bit...think GE Smith Tele.
