Clem: Nice guitar Chad is finishing a blackguard for me should have it mid-next week. Installing Budz pickups in mine. This will be my second custom build from Chad the other was an esquire with a Jason Lollar pup. I live only a few minutes from him, he does great work.

Chad--Agreed, the guitar is brilliantly executed. Big neck; fantastic frets, set up and finish. Price...well I got it as a gift.

I think he sells through Destroy All Guitars. His tel-Star guitars are extremely cool.

3 Speed--Amazing pick up...which isn't surprising, since Don M. did the pickups for my Tele. The triple is such a good idea...and since each one is hand done, if your taste is more "modern" or rock n' roll, he can wind it hotter and tap it differently! Genius. The great surprise is the "Roy Buchanan" tap (lowest wind)...gets that great harmonic content.

I love having the Esquire as my No.1.

Ran the Esquire through my Burriss Royal Bluesman and David Freida "micro cabinet" (closed back 8" speaker!). KILLER! Pure Americana and rock n' roll joy!!
