Me too - sort of
I'm not familiar with those bands that you referenced, but I'm guessing that you're talking about really low tuning...like dropped B or something.
I tuned my Tele D to D, and still play most tunes in the same key - it's pretty cool. That puts G in the normal A position, D in the normal E position and C in the normal D position. I've got another guitar player in the band and he tunes standard, so we get different voicings on the same chords. It works well. |
