My new Taipan Stainless Steel Bridge

It was worth the wait. As you can see, I had Vince notch out the back edge for the Bigsby clearance; works and looks awesome, about a million times better than I could do with a file or a dremel:

that looks beautifully engineered. beautiful tele too....

I wonder if you can put glendale saddles in one of those bridges very easily or if the glendale intonation method can be engineered into taipans saddles?

They might crowd just a wee bit. My estimation is Vince's 2 outboard through holes for intonation length screws might be 1.70 inches on center, Dale's might be 1.75 inches on center. But Dale's actually might be better fitting than some, because each saddle is carefully designed to marry up to its neighbor and others have right angle sides and don't gel with their neighbors at all. Bill Callaham's should fit fine since he allows plenty of space and uses that tiny 4-40 height screw (so do some others). But I would imagine since Vince recommends and sells Budz saddles that those fit best of all. And the old Fender standby straight ones should work well as (I think) we see above.

That bridge assembly looks so sweet, Bad Porcupine!

Yes, these are Fender straight threaded steel saddles. Definitely solved my string spacing/moving problems I previously had using the Bigsby on my brass saddles, and sounds very "snappy" with the steel bridge.

Love the Bigsby

I just installed my Bigsby, successfully. The method is slightly different with the Tele Deluxe because of the Humbuckers. I actually had to drill 2 giant holes for the new bridge posts. There's no cover involved. (to hide any sloppy drilling) I took my time and was very careful throughout the whole thing. I had never done this before!
Check it out:

Sorry, I just realized that posted this for the wrong thread.
