Beautiful.

Can I ask what the record label is? That's a cool look.

Faith Recordings. I chose it for the color.
It's looks like a red tortoise shell. Here's a shot that shows the color somewhat better. Shows the finish checking of the nitro pretty well as well.

!!!

I didn't realize the entire pickguard was made of the red vinyl record! I thought you just had a record label stuck on a black pickguard that looked a little reddish because of the sun.

What a brilliant idea.

Dremel with a small cutting wheel. You need the small diameter wheel (wore out) so the curves in the PG do not back cut the PG. GO SLOW, and then carefully use a sanding drum on the dremel, and finish with hand sanding.
Get thick records, the new thin one's just don't work.

I then put a piece of thick copper wire in a PG hole and place the PG on it to mark it. I do one hole at a time, moving the copper wire, so process, but no matter how hard i try to mark them all at the same time from an old PG they never line up. This takes 15 minutes or so but works like a charm for me.

This is the third one I've done successfully, I've screwed up about 5 records that I had to chuck. Records are 50 cents at the Youth Ranch or other thrift stores.

The wiring is the 50's Fender Esquire set-up and has an amazing sound.
