Is this guy KIDDING?!?

I mean...am I totally off base here or is this Esquire (and all the other guitars in this guy's "other auctions") not exactly the one found in that high-end gallery over at Gruhn?!?

And I just thought I'd check out all that stellar feedback. The guy's been buying $.01 Pokemon Cards and Store Coupons to build up his feedback number.

Pathetic.

AND!!

To add insult to injury, there's about 50 auctions under this name...1/2 in the U.S. and the other half in the U.K.?!?

What is up with this guy?!?

This the same guy that was posting last week..You know, the one "we" reported? The same ad wording. Remember, "makes a great gift for the collector".

Here we go again.

You mean this is the second time?

I was away last week. I can't believe this guy would try this twice. I mean...if you want to try something this stupid even ONCE, maybe try something a litte lower profile...don't you think? :?

One of these guys almost got me. He had 5 guitars up for auction but they weren't that expensive. The one I wanted was a mid 80's lefty G&L. The others were worth between $200 and $500. The auction looked suspicious, but I figured if someone was going to make false guitar auctions on Ebay, they'd do it big like the guy above. Not so!! I was lucky and was outbid at the last moment. The guy never shipped any of the guitars. Just goes to show you it doesn't have to be a '52 to be a fake auction.

Thanks CSS...

It was nuthin'.

If I hadn't been living up to my name and huntin' down those single pickup beauties, then there would be one more criminal terrorizing the streets of our fair city.

HA!
