sage green metallic?

okay i've been looking around for a new tele.
found a new MIM Std. Tele in sage green metallic.
though that's what the label on the site says, on the fender color chart sage green metallic looks way more gray/brownier then this. this is near surf pearl i think..

now, is sage green metallic like this in real life, or is it just the pic? and does the neck has the same pale-blue gloss as on the pic? (i also have this impression with the blue afgave version)
i think maple should be more yelowish or orange, like the '50/'60 series...
tnx

Ditto Marks pic re Sage Green. The Blue Agave is more like metallic ice-blue, but just a shade or two deeper :? . The maple necks on these Std. MIM Tele’s are NOT tinted to a deeper colour (not “orange” or darker yellow), instead they’re very pale almost white looking maple, with a matt satin finish :? .

Bought a MIM Sage Green

on ebay a few months ago.

Really began despising the color. Monkey Poop Green it is called on this board.

Ended up refinishing Re-Ranch Copper. Nice!

okay then i have to admit that the current colors of the MIM Std's are quite disappointing. only the sunburst is nice imho and arctic white can go through. but you don't have a teint of 'normal' red (no candy appel red or so) or like other basic colors. would love a surf green or surf pearl one or a dakota red one...
