Trying to get 10-52 tension when tuned down two steps

I am setting up a regular scale tele to play in baritone tuning eg. E=C, A=F, D=A#, B=G and E=C
What gauge strings should I be looking for to get a 10-52 feel? 12-60?

How about this, try a 5 way super switch with a .22mf cap in one of the extra position, you will be amazed at how baritone sounding it is. Or a Big-D vari-tone which has that in the last position. Even a 1/2 step down makes it more convincing IMO.

Just worked this out and it's playing great. Went 2 steps and a half or a semi octave on the 60. I just tuned the 60 to B and just moved all of the strings down. So now my 52 E is in the the A string position, A is in D position etc. No high E but not a bad sacrifice to get that low B. The break angle is fine and the nut surprisingly enough is really holding on to the thicker gauge so I won't have to recut. This tuning really has me loving major keys for some reason

Use my Custom String Gauge Design Page to create a gauge that has the same tension as a 10-52 set.

I can't find the word "bleah" in my dictionary. Is my post inappropriate?

Oh sorry. I didn't see Mr. Green. I thought you didn't agree with my math. It was late and I was tired. You just don't like math, and that's cool. Peace. My apologies. Thanks.

I'd be interested to know how your intonation has worked out ?
