robben ford live feb. 24

i was lucky enough to go see robben ford live at the magic bag in ferndale mi , this past tuesday
what a show!! the venue is very small so you're 50 feet from the stage , i was about 30

i can't believe the tone that guy can get , unbelievable, so smooth and just perfect , and he looked
like he was having fun as well , his band was amazing , very tight , hillary his drummer is great , and again
her drum sound is so sweet ,

if you ever have a chance to see them live don't hesitate and go , you won't be sorry unless you don't
go i missed him a few years back and was pretty bummed about it and vowed never to miss him
again

now the wife is worried i'm going to try a find a dumble!!

ps , i justified this post in the tele forum because robben plays a tele sometimes

I missed him here in St Louis last week and am still kicking myself. Was he playing his new Baker guitars?

But I am going to see Keb Mo next month. So I will get my blues fix then.

Mojo, you didn't miss him...

He cancelled his show due to illness. My friend & I got to Blueberry HIll, Walked downstairs and the door was locked. That's the worst $15.00 I've ever been refunded.
(I later blew the refund in Vintage Vinyl.)

Elk-
That stinks that he cancelled. If you hear of a reschedule date send me a message. I was really bummed thinking I had missed it. Also, It doesn't take long to spend a lot at Vintage Vinyl.

Thornwithin5-
Thats cool he was playing his Baker, I had a chance to play one very close to his and would have loved to have one. I saw where he also has a Baker single cut model with minihumbuckers in it. The thing looks sweet. I love those mini's. Glad to hear it was a good show.
