Danish Oil As A Tele Finish?
I've have an unfinished WD b bender tele body, i was just wondering what sort of effect you would get finishing it in danish oil? I'm not one for fancy finishes so this may be the easy route.
Thanks Vikki(uk) |

We used to do them quite often that way in the '80's...
upside - it's easy to do; pretty easy to touch up scratches. downside - it looks like a cheap finish; it takes a long time to cure; usually smells pretty bad; stains easily; there will be a *lot* of scratches, as there's no surface protection at all. Personally, I wouldn't do it - You can get fairly easy to apply aerosol lacquers from ReRanch and do a solid-color that will look better and be much more durable.
