Coming March 8th... the Lite Ash Tele

Looks like a pretty good price on the New Lite Ash Tele from Music123.com

I might have to have one....specs don't say where she's made........but they did load her up with seymour duncans.....

...and they have a REALLY BIG pic of it! (it's 2500 x 2469 pixels.........IE6 automatically sizes it down, but if you hold your cursor over it & click the zoom button you get some up close detail..........birdseye maple neck looks really cool!)

By the way, why is it Lite Ash? Is it hollowed out? Is it a veneer?

Presumably "Lite Ash" refers to the colour?

I think Fender told Colin Johnston that they're MiKs.

Tuners?

Nobody has confirmed what type of tuners this guitar has. I want to believe that they are vintage split tuners. In the pictures, it is impossible to know for certain. However, in the largest picture that I have seen, it's beginning to look like standard staggered height tuners.

Yes, they look like the modern style tuners.

Anyone know any tech specs? like neck profiles/radiuses?

Because I can't wait to try one in the UK, much as I hate buying "new" Fenders, this one looks very, very good to me!

Always assuming the r.r.p is about £420, so say £365 street price.

They are CIJ - Japan, just like the Lite Ash Strat.
