Looks cool. But at that price? Makes me feel the Tux was a good deal. I assume there was never really a "vintage counterpart" though? (As in a '51 thinline...) Geir :)

I don't know...
...what's the deal? When can I buy a reliced Jackson Soloist in butterscotch with vintage correct electronics?
A nice guitar that is definitely NOT vintage correct. Why did they relic it? To improve the sound or playability? To make it look like a vintage Nocaster? But since there never was a Nocaster Thinline ..why bother?? I'm confused :? Still a lot of money for a guitar like this. It might be cheaper to buy a new Thinline and have it sprayed in butterscotch...... |

$$$$$!!
yikes, another example of storebought vintage vibe. A cool guitar, but obviously a cruel joke by Fender (and Elderly): "some idiot is gonna pay WAYYYY too much money for this one! HAHAHA!" I like the guitar, I hate the intent. sorry...............

I think it's a really good marriage of two distinctly different vintage styles. Who cares if it isn't "vintage correct"? How can you see it as a possible "scam" by Fender? They aren't allowed to take artistic license?
