Sweet tele (a bit like my first)

You know what they say about first love and all that. Well seeing this ad brought some memories. My first tele was a bit like this one, probably more see through. (My wife says butterscotch, but this is one subject where I know for once I am right... )

I do think mine must have been a 70s style one, though, seem to remember a 3 ply bwb guard on it. Cannot remember which year I bough it, it was some time after my strat which I bought in '79, and I sold it in '85 or '86. (Don't you say nothing...)

What I do remember is it was perfect for the music we played at the time, hardcore punk and new vawe. After I got it my strat was backup for a few years.
