A list of Fender's original vendors/suppliers?
I 've often wondered if anyone has assembled a comprehensive list of Fender's suppliers from the 1950s to around the time of the CBS buyout at the beginning of 1965?
For instance, I know Lyman and Race did most, if not all, of Fender's tool and die work; Daka-Ware made Fender's amp knobs and switch tips; Kluson made the tuners; Meyercord made the Fender headstock decals; et cetera. As always, I'm just curious about such things. Thanks, Joel
