Low E tone affected by break angle over nut?
Will too much of a break angle on the low E affect the tone and resonance? I wound a little more string on the post(Kluson type) than usual and the string seems a little dead.

Hi Bob,
Sure that's possible but I would think maybe you have a bum string where the windings have loosened a bit causing the deadness. Loosen the string and cut off a bit and try again w/ less windings, see what happens? Cool, Greg V. Some tunes: http://www.songramp.com/homepage.ez?Who=GregV |
