O YEA. my grandma used to play tunes for me and my sis on the ukelele, but 550? i thought ukelele's were toys. who pays that much for em?

The uke is a very serious instrument with a long history, and massive repitore. A good uke in the hands of a skilled player can make incredible music..500 is on the high end of a massed produced instrument, but a good custom shop (MIH) instrument can easly go over 2K..vintage Martins, Nunes ect. can go for as much as a nice Tele. Old Gibsons are also well thought of..oh yea they are lots of fun
