Paisley "Inside Fame" on CMT...tonight

http://www.cmt.com/shows/dyn/inside_.../episode.jhtml

CMT, Saturday Night 2/7 at 8PM est...now, I've got to video tape either BP or the Nascar Bud Pole Shootout on TBS , hmmm....priorities :?

If anything, the CMT show will give our tele spankin' friend some additional, well deserved exposure...heck, maybe Redd or Zac will be on the show too ?! (come on, William Shatner can't talk "tele" like those guys !)

Ok, that's it...set those VCRs and beam me up Scotty...

John

Shawn...do the math, it's Daytona, the restrictor plates are on the cars, Little Earnhardt is involved, it's a "new sponsor" looking for a HUGE audience...so, who's gunna win ?!...hmmm...can you say "the Budweiser Car" 8)

Anyhow...

Yeah!....

Yeah! Yeah!....I know. But I'm okay with that. I actually like Jr. Don't really have a fav anymore. Anyway, it's been nearly three months since I've seen a live race. That's the real problem! With the number 24 in your username, you should understand the withdrawls one gets from the lack of racing. I've been watching reruns of races on The Speed Channel, but it just isn't the same. However, I'll most likely listen to what Brad has to say, but the remote will be in my hand that night.
I've listened to some of the excerpts on CMT. Seems that the interviews will be more serious than what I would have expected from Brad. I wonder if he'll mention the TDPRI. Prabably not!

Later,
SS

NASCAR's ok, but it's not WRC. That's where the real drivers are. So I'll watch Mr. Paisley.

BTW, did anyone watch Dale Jr. and Tony Stewart almost win the 24 hours? 17 minutes to go and the wheels fall off.

WRC...

man those guys can do it. I love the incar shots of their facial expression. Total concentration. I do respect WRC drivers abilities, and enjoy watching them race.

Yo,

I LOVED the Brad Paisley Inside Fame show. It was so refreshing to see someone with a positive vibe instead of the 'plagued' musician with their alcohol, drug, and personal hangup problems. Brad is a fine example that you don't have to be a typical 'Behind the Music' story to be creative, talented, and successful. Hats off the Brad for being an incredible player, songwriter, and a good human to boot!

JohnK24....

I beg your forgiveness. I have sinned against the telecaster. I watched the Shootout instead of Inside Fame. I looked at the CMT schedule and seen the BP bit was going to replay Wednesday night. I do hope that you'll overlook my lack of loyalism. It been said that Brad stops by here every now and then. If so, Brad forgive me.

sidenote:
Man wasn't it good to see Texas Terry pulling the pack around. I thought he had a chance at it for a while.

Shawn...I taped the BP show and watched the Shootout too...it was nice to see TX Terry leading the pack (I'm a Hendrick fan...100%). If Mayfield hadn't "lost it", I sure Terry and Jr. both with fresh tires would have put on a good show at the finish. As my buddy calls it...we had HillBilly Christmas with the Shootout/Qualifying and HillBilly New Year comes next weekend with the Daytona 500.

I've watched the Inside Fame twice so far...warning, it's hard not to laugh and smile through most of it...Let's just say I'm proud to be a fan of his playing and musical talents, and he's one of the few performers I can let my 4 year old son listen to and watch and not have to worry about content (ok...BP if you're read this...maybe the New Years Eve story Then again my son would/will do that type of thing to me someday).
