I hate having my picture taken especially when you end up with a goofy look because you are waiting for the timer. But here it is anyway.

My influences range The Band through to Laurel & Hardy. Say no more!

The Strat was signed by the great Dave Alvin. You can not tell by the picture but he also drew a cigarette with smoke coming of the end.

Howdy from a new guy to the forum!

Hello everybody!
My name is Mark Heurkins and I'm from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Minnesota area. Here is a couple of shots of me with my Ltd Edition Buck Owens Telecaster. I have owned many Tele's over the years but they will have to pry this baby out of my cold, dead hands........

Well I might as well toss my mug into the mix, I hate taking pictures of myself though, it's much easier when it's my teles.

And another picture of the better looking half of the duo!

Well, it's a partscaster I threw together with bits and bobs, the body and neck are from Warmoth. Fatback maple neck with schaller locking tuners, and the body's made of black korina, it's pretty light all in all.

The bridge I picked up from Callaham, the neckplate's also from there, and the pickups are Bareknuckles, a BKP-90 in the neck and a Piledriver in the bridge, and they're wired into a 4-way switch for paralell and series wiring.

All in all I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out, the only mod I made to it after it was "finished" was to put one of those Floyd Rose style string retainers on the peghead to get a better break angle over the nut, which had a positive effect on the skinny strings, but not so much on the chunky ones.
