Well, it's a Telecaster bass, sort of... I'm Tele-less now - only basses!

Thanx Joel, guys.....
the Silver/Green Flame Sparklecaster gets a stablemate soon, i received the new body the other day....it also is a DeLacugo, in the American Flag flame theme....it sparkles even better than the green one.... http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y20...t/P1010042.jpg the last few Sparklecasters have essentially been '52 RI's with Fender replacement neck, hardware and Pups....but this time i'm thinking Lace "gold" Tele set for Pups, and a highly figured neck.....maybe a Wilkinson 3 saddle comp bridge..... opinions or suggestions ? |

Not exactly a face, but...
if you go here: http://www.casinoaztar.com/Pavilion....Suite.pano.mov, you can see me if you look around a bit. You will see me playing my tele (I think), if you use binoculars. On second thought, that might be my old blond ES 175.

And is there a more beautiful province than Alberta? I really don't think so. (OK, OK, you other guys and girls to the North...the other nine provinces [and three territories] are very nice, too. No fighting, please! Man, there are so many great shots in this thread, and I think yours are among the best yet, Shawn! Joel |

Thanks Joel...
I can't take credit for the photos... that was the very artistic photographer that was hired to do the promo and CD photo shots. He was experimenting with everything.
He had me in fields, on fences, in front of barns, beside barns, daylight shots, evening shots, looking left, right, down, sideways....etc etc etc!!!!! I felt like a human puppet! There are over 300+ photos from that session alone. And yes, it is gorgeous country. These shots were all taken within 1/2 mile of my residence. I live out in the country, in the middle of these open fields. Now, from a photo point of view, it looks lovely with that open prarie, but the WIND... ohhhh the WIND!!!! In fact, the wind the day these was taken was over 50MPH. If you look closely in the first photo, you can actually see the wheat leaning and blurring from wind movement. Some days you have to walk leaning to one side so you don't blow over!!! So these extra photos DID come in handy! Cheers, Shawn

Listen, Comment
Hey All,
Can't figgur out how to put a pic in the message body. So much for "put a face...." Avatar will have to do for now But go to cdbaby.com, search on Blues Owls and listen to a few songs. All rhythm tracks and most leads done with Tele neckpup S.D. 5 / 2 with cover off through a Matchless Lightning 15W 1x12. Let me/us know what you think. I'm too close to it. All I can hear are the mistakes[/img]
