Fender 51 Nocaster Relic Electric Guitar...
I spent two hours in Telecaster heaven...got to play the Nocaster, Baja, and Classic 60's Telecasters.
To make a long story short, if money were no object, I would still take the Baja of the three guitars. The Baja neck pickup was my favorite of the three guitars, I did not like the bridge pickup on any of them. I did not like the vintage wiring system of the Nocaster. I also learned that I prefer a modern 9.5" radius neck with larger frets. What I would like to do is put the Baja neck and bridge on the Olympic White body of the Classic 60's, with some different pickups, and modern 3-way wiring. |

Sounds like a plan and the makings of a real player.
Buy both, take what you want from each and put the rest on fleabay... or help out your fellow TDPRI Members and sell the leftovers here. A "partscaster" is always a good idea when it means you get the guitar of your dreams which is hard to get out of just one guitar. Good Luck |

Check out Dave's Guitars
Here's a link:
http://www.davesguitar.com/products.html?13256 Look carefully through his Custom Shop inventory - He orders alot of vintage style with larger frets and neck radius, reliced and NOS and his prices are great compared to some dealers. Check out the 54' relic in (white)blonde. 9.5 radius and medium jumbo frets to name just one of them.
