Joe Barden website is back up, is he back in business?

I was surfing the web yesterday and noticed that Joe Barden's website is back up. I had heard that he had health and financial problems (sounded like an employee ripped him off), but that he was still trying to keep his business going. Anyone heard anything recently about Joe and how his business is doing?

He's posted on several forums confirming that he was still "alive and kicking" despite a number of set backs such as:

- ALL his employees leaving at the same time, including the guy that paid the bills, e.g. phone and ISP fees, etc..
- A hint of improper financial activity by said employee
- Supplier problems
- Not enough hours in a day, etc..

He's been trying to run it as a one-man outfit but when you're an International brand, this just isn't possible.

The fact that the website is back is a clear indication that he's fighting back.

The phone is still disconnected though, but if I was Joe, I'd leave it off for a while whilst I get my stocks re-established.

I personally like the pups made by Joe himself in his basement than the later more "mass produced" pups.

Good for Joe! I for one am glad to see him fighting back, and not just laying down and taking it you know where. Business can be an iffy thing, and it's really easy to just throw in the towell when things get hairy, cut your losses so to speak. I think it shows alot of character and dedication to his product that in spite of all the recent adversity he's experienced, he's still making a go at it.

I'm buying a couple of those bridges.
