Just turned my BSB Squier into an Esquire. Nice guitar this with a bright 8K bridge pickup. What inspired me was the neck pickup packing up, it is still due for wiring up, and I think I'm going to use Ole Fuzzys straight to jack/volume only/volume and tone mod

Just made this on Kisekae, felt like sharing..
![]() Supposed to be a match to my Hendrix/David Gilmour strap. I like the idea of an opposite slanted pickup, couldn't quite figure out how to do it properly and now I know how I've closed the window so I can't fix it but you get the idea.. Body mounted, all aged hardware and a medium relic with a leather/suede pickguard (the same material the strap is made from) I like it anyway, was fun to make. |

Okie, if you show that esquire one more time, I'm coming to Oklahoma to punch you in the brain!!!
In all seriousness, i love that thing. I really really love it. It's very close the the Carbonita. My favorite esquire is yours. It's just so sweet. Man.... Wait now...wasn't there somebody else who had a white one along the same lines? Can't remember for the life of me who it was??????? |

Okie, it seems you and I have the same idea when it comes to the look of our guitars. I love it too but I love the first one more. I would like to have the same one as the second pic u posted but without the pickguard or without the control plate. Ala plain for me. I love both of those guitars. So, you need to get a third one without the pickguard and without the control plate and switch. Then your stable will be complete. I'm jealous but in a nice way.

Wisconsinstrings, that is a really beautiful guitar. I love wood, it's so warming and comfortable. Nice job. I'll check that thread out again. How did you enjoy building it and what did you enjoy the most and what did you dislike the most?
flt101, thanks for telling me who he was. Sorry you lost a friend. Nice to see that you're in contact with his daughter. I'll look into his bio just so I know a little more about him. Hope you're okay buddy? |

![]() It's been posted before, sorry for the repeat. Schecter body, Jimmy Vaughan neck, Voodoo '60s pickup, Glendale saddles. The neck was purchased for a separate project, I got the body for a price I couldn't pass up. It all came together as a very successful accident. It's my "go to" guitar at the moment.
