i should throw in, she's a 50's classic white blonde...the pics aren't really showing off that body color...think the color of a fresh stick of butter.

I had blackguard on blonde for ages, and decided it was a time for a change.
Mint green? Nah, not with a maple neck. I went with white, and here's a suggestion to try out... change the pickup selector switch tip to (sacrilege!) a white strat tip. I did that out of necessity once, but it just set it off beautifully to my eye, and a white tip/white guard mine stays. Its in the subtle things my friend! Sounds better on Bm7(b5)/11 chords too |

Don't forget brushed gold! I admit I'm biased because my CV Squier has this treatment, here's a link to the thread its posted in to save bandwidth. The guard is from WDmusic, and I was pleasantly surprised by its "brushiness"...it looks like an old gold anodized guard with a black layer behind it.

White - whiter - whitest
Not that it probably matters, but white was the original pickguard color for a mid/late 50's (white) Blonde Tele, and to me it's the natural choice Black looks good too, though ... |
