Some questions about my antigua Tele...
This is one of the CIJ reissues.
1. What kind of wood is the body made out of? 2. Is the neck one piece of maple, or a maple fret board glues to a maple neck? 3. How accurate of a reissue is it? To me is seems Japan is more accurate with the reissues, and the Americans are improvements on them. Atleast with the Japanese vs. AV Jaguars. Thanks for any help.

I can't help you with the other questions, but the neck question should be pretty evident by looking at it. If it has a skunk stripe, it's a one piece. If it doesn't have a skunk stripe, it's probably a cap (or a veneer). If it is a two-piece neck, you can usually see the seam along the side of the neck and at the base, where there the truss rod adjustment is probably located. I could be wrong, but I believe the skunk stripe is the dead giveaway.
