How great is that to have one of the greatest guitarists today on this forum, Mr. Brent Mason. I don't know him personally, but he's got to be one of the most humble people you'll meet. I mean someone of his stature amongst us mer mortals. :D
I just joined this forum, but how many other renowned guitarists are lurking in the shadows. Steve Wariner, Vince Gill, Ricky Skaggs, …….. c’mon, lets hear ya.

I almost forgot, Paisley and Urban!

This is simply awesome, that’s all I could say, simply awesome.

I know, I'm such a dork. :P

Bill Hullett, Redd Volkaert, Terry Downs, Johnny Hiland, to name but a few, all are members here. Keep looking, there are many more.

Wow! I know Redd, not personally, but know his playing. I just seen some stuff on Terry Downs, what a smooth cat. I have just got into Johnny Hiland, hell of a player, can't wait to pick up some tricks from these guys. I will most certainly check out Bill. 8)

Way back when this board first got started as a discussion board offshoot of Ken Goldstein's Telecaster Appreciation Page, a thread developed one evening between myself and another early poster named Bill Venable who posted as Willy. Some guy interjected that we should "get a room" or some such idiotic thing and suddenly about a dozen people jumped to our defense, talking about how much we both had to offer. Ken named Willy and myself, and I quote, "the board's first celebrities".

Boy, am I glad I enjoyed THAT 15 minutes!
