Good price for a used '52ri
I did a quick search on ebay but the range seems pretty wide. There's one for sale locally I was thinking of making an offer on. What is a good price for excellent condition 2003 '52ri?

Well...it's funny you ask. I just bought a 52 RI an hour ago that's in excellent condition (except for some slight aging on the bridge) AND a brand new tweed Gretsch Electromatic amp for $840. They're going pretty cheap on ebay right now. Should be able to snag a decent one in the $800 range. Good luck! There's one out there somewhere with your name on it.

In 1997 I got a new 52ri but it was an NOS 1988 model a guitar teacher had set aside for himself and never purchased it I got it for $900 and had a hard time selling it finally got $750 for it. Back then I think they were $1050 new they are $1400 new now.
