CC Serial No.
Hi Guys
I can find no details of my Custom Shop Nocaster Tele serial no. on any of the usual sites. The serial no. is CC070 with Custom Shop Classic Collection on the heel plate. Black body with white pick guard, nice figured maple neck. Any info re date of manufacture, type of pickups etc would be much appreciated. Best regards Rockin' Rog |

If I recall correctly, the Custom Classics have a longer serial number (CZ123456) with the "Fender Custom Shop" logo on the heel, no mention of "Custom Classic" and DEFINITELY has "Fender" written on the heel in script above the Custom Shop logo.
Pretty sure if it doesn't say Fender but does say Custom Shop, it's one of those 29$ eBay fake heel plates.... Hope not though.

If it is a Nocaster it should have a Rxxxx -serial number and not starting with CC. Are you sure that it is a Nocaster?

Here is my Nocaster CC
you can se (maybe... photo is a bit small...) that the serial number i located on the bridge beneath the Fender Pat Pend text R23xx. There is nothing on the neckplate. ![]() If it is a Custom Classic Telecaster then it should be like newtwanger wrote.

CC Serial No.
Thanks for the info so far Guys
It's definatley a Nocaster - just the Fender logo on the headstock with the custom shop logo embossed on the back of the headstock. I bought this tele around 2000-2001 and I seem to recall some one telling me it was one of a batch made for export to Europe / England, any ideas? Rockin' Rog |

Hi again
Do you mean it has this kinda logo on the back of the headstock... that would indicate a 95-99 Nocaster. But by then they only made relics, haven't heard of closet classics from then... But of course it might be some mild relic special order or something. I know they did special runs... Do you have pics of it?

For any Custom Shop guitar you can call the Custom Shop and get the full info just by giving them the serial number. I think you call Fender Customer Relations, but they may have to give you another phone number to call to get Custom Shop info.
