One sweet tele (that I wish Fender would make more of)
This beauty was on eBay a while back. One of only 2 or 3 I have seen there. And I fell in love immediately!
What is it? Well, called a Special Edition, it is another guitar created spesifically for a given (chain of) music stores. In this case Brooks-Mays. Basically, it is a double bound '62RI, only with a '52RI maple neck. What a great idea! And then the icing on the cake: A perfect cherryburst flame maple top and back on the body. I could not afford to bid, but I still hate my self for not doing it. I have contacted Brooks-Mays, but they no longer list it. Here is a link to that auction, with more and bigger pictures. Enjoy!! EDIT: I forgot to add: I can always get USACG to make me a body like that, and put a '52RI neck on it. Yes, that I can do. One day, when I have the money... Geir :)

As some of you know...
...I'm a USACG kinda' guy. But I've got to admit, that's one gorgeous Tele. Cherry sunburst is one of my all-time fav colors, especially on "Fender style" guitars. I'm guessing it would cost around $1200.-$1500. for a USACG version, when you consider the binding, flame, custom color, etc. But man, would it be worth it!!?
