picking up 59 Esquire Relic tomorrow
I played it today and I'm picking it up tomorrow. I know I'm the target demographic, my first real electric guitar was 1959 Tele top loader that my dad got from a friend who worked at the Fender factory in Fullerton. I felt like ten years old again looking at the thing, the only differences obviously was absence of neck pup and the pickguard is white instead of black. For a mere 2K it's a deal since I can't afford to buy my old guitar back. Besides I won't feel paranoid gigging with it. Cheers, Greg.
