I hate to do this man but....

My Bucky with Bardens is the most wonderful sounding wonderful playin' guitar that I have in my collection....sorry to say but the Bardens are just great...

I know that alot of players are trying to get them and it ain't easy...but take it from me...it's worth the wait and definately worth any price to get them....

sorry guys and gals...but the Bardens rock!

How about them Kinmans?

Didn't you sport Kinmans in one of your Telecasters? Or is my memory getting Geezer soft? They are both buckers, so it would be interesting to hear a comparison.

Barden's

I've just got to get one more S-Deluex, and my late 80's 62' RI strat will be fully outfitted with Bardens. Pricey little boogers, but after I dropped the bridge pickup in.....I knew I was going to end up doing this! Very nice, loud, bright (not piercing) sound!

I hope Joe gets his sh*t together soon, as I've had a tele set ordered from Gtr Heaven (along with a bridge and saddles) since the beginning of Oct.

Joe posted on the telemodders board 5 or 6 weeks ago after I asked if any of the modders had heard he had gone out of business. He said no....just having personelle problems, he's been sick, etc.....so I think he will be back.

Anyway....Got my fingers crossed for you Joe!!!!

I'm in that Barden camp too and always say keep adjusting them until you find the "magic" that works for you - I hate to say it, but I'd wait as long as I had too for a set if our Tele's weren't already Barden equipped. Joe's had a string of bad luck, but he'll be rockin' 100% in no time...one of the bad things about having a small business is stuff can snowball on you like it did with Joe - I think it's safe to say we're all wishing him nothing but the best of luck and we'd help in any way we can!

I can't wait to hear you pick on a Barden equipped twangcaster, George - I know you can make anything sound good, but I'm looking forward to hearin' those Gatton licks in all their glory! :D

Ho...one mans tone heaven is anothers garage sale item....and vice versa....the one and only Barden I've had was DOA.....never did get it fixed....personally, I like some hum/ feedback laced edge with a raw and fat midrange...if Bardens can do that....I'm on the wagon...later, spyder

I used Bardens for a while,I loved the neck pup but I couldnt get along with the bridge(despite alot of trying),they are very fragile in my little experience aswell.

Dont get me wrong, you know when you hear a Barden, and they sound great in their own right.

But not the sound for me. :(
