Esquire

Anyone know the story on the bridge pickup in the Fender CS Esquire?
It is a Relic being sold on consignment by David Grissom.
Price about $1600.
Very lightweight (6-6 1/2 lbs.)
I hope to play it in the next day or two.
Staggard pole pieces.
Magnets seem a little smaller in diameter.
Are these hot/screamers?
Any info appreciated.
Thanks

Most of the CS Esquires got Nocaster pickups installed in them. Some might also be Texas Tele pickups.

As long as its stock that's not a bad price for a somewhat rare CS instrument. You can always change out the p/u to fit your needs.
