52 Tele on Ebay EVERYBODY READ!!!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=38083

I sold this guitar to the guy that is selling it on Ebay about a week ago. In his ad he mentions it is in uplayed condition. It is not. I had it rewired to the modern wiring and he does not mention it at all. That is why I sold it to him so cheap. Below is the orginal ebay ad that I placed last week on it. I am letting you guys know about this because I dont want you getting fooled thinking you are gettin a brand new guitar.

Dan

Why did you sell that as new looking 2003 52ri for only $750??

You sure gave someone a good deal and now they are just trying to make some $$ off it.

Did it sond THAT bad??

If I had an extra $750 laying around I woulkd have bought that in a heartbeat good deals like that dont come along very often.

52 Tele

It did not have the sound I was looking for. I could have gotten $150 to 250 more if I really wanted to, but unlike most musicians I am not strapped for cash, I just wanted to give someone who really wanted one a good deal. If I had known this guy was a dealer I would have told him to go **** himself.

Hey Dan T!....

...hope we didn't come across as greedy! Nothin' wrong in the world with giving someone a good deal. Just always keep in mind, just cuz something doesn't float YOUR particular boat, doesn't mean someone else wouldn't love to have it!!

Bottom line is, being happy with your gear. If that 52RI wasn't doin' it for you, better to let it go.

Take care!

Hey, another Opera user!

BPOE, doncha love them free browsers that allow you to ignore javascripts like this one...

<script language="JavaScript"> <!--
// No RightClickWizard
// (c) 2002 ImageWiz.net
// admin@imagewiz.net
// Do not delete this header!
var message="Sorry, These are my Images and Words\nGet Your Own!!!"; // Message for the alert box
// Do not edit below!

.

He does take good pictures, gotta admit.
Much easier to stick a copyright watermark on the pictures though if he was concerned about protecting them.

Yeah, I ran into a similar situation where I just sold a pedal steel at a discount because of an action problem on one of the knee levers. Someone bought it and is turning around and selling it without mentioning the problem. I always am upfront about the problems with the stuff I sell, but with this new funny business with people reselling, what's the point? Ward
