Squier Tele Custom (Deluxe) advice please...
Hello
Recently got one of these beauties and looking to upgrade the pickguard (its currently a black one on a black body). I bought a American telecaster deluxe pickguard from WD in the usa which was awesome but it didn't fit cos the humbuckers on mine are smaller than the deluxe. Can any advise where I can get a new one, preferably a black pearl version:-) Also, any other upgrades I should consider? Thanks for your help Ross |

I had the folks at terrapin guitars (in oregon I think) make me up a black guard for my thinline. I just sent them the orig pearloid one, and they sent me a very accurate copy in black.
No affiliation, other than they are folks I wouldn't hesitate to do business with again. J |

I made these up to put MiniHB's in an HB surround. If you have dimensions I can make a set for you (3D printer in ABS). A regular HB plate was to big? SS/Gordon |

You want the "Gibson Style Humbucker" option. I would expect to have to drill new mounting holes, as the new pickguard most likely will not line up exactly with the old holes. No big deal, though: http://www.terrydownsmusic.com/techn...e_drilling.htm |
