Thing of beauty: Older Squire Tele....
This is a made in Korea Squire, ser # begins E101xxxx.
Anyone know about what year? Does the "E" stand for "eighties?" This thing is a cool top-loader. Soundin' NASTY, cool vibe! ![]() Got it from Russ at Music Exchange in Colorado Springs (if ever in town, check 'em out: cool shop!!). HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL MY TELE-LOVIN' BROS AND SISTERS!!

as far as I know Fender Japan began operations in early 1982. All of my Fender Japans from the 80s have the date written in pencil on the neck butt... dating FJs by serial number is an inexact science. But the pencil date makes it much easier. ` course it could very well be that somebody other than a FJ employee wrote those dates in but all of mine are very consistent.
