Hahn guitars and our own Rockin'Carl - killllller video!

I've already gone on and on about Chihoe and you guys all know how much I love Carl...so the two of them together is meltin' my heart! Those are such amazing guitars and Carl is such a great player (...and he's so dang cute ), this is probably my favorite YouTube clip ever!

Our gig at The Rockabilly Rebel Weekender was fun and we had a great time... but I'm kickin' myself big time for missing NAMM. BIG TIME.

Blimey!

Do my eyes deceive me or has Carl got six fingers on his left hand!

Wow! He's good!

Thanks MandyMarie! I really enjoyed that.

Ain't he the cats meow? Carl's seriously one of the sweetest, nicest guys you'll ever meet in your whole life...you know, on top of all that talent, he's really sweet! ...I sound like such a girl

I really feel like that fella is someone we are all going to be talking about in the same breathe as Bill Kirchen or Redd Volkaert here soon. He's an amazing player and he's extremely tasteful.

When our bands double billed last year he just knocked me out! ...my husband even went on and on and on about him too and he never does that! Danny's been playing forever, toured like a madman and seen tons of guitar players. From an audience members point of view it takes a lot to impress him - heck it takes a lot to even get him to raise an eyebrow...and he went on and on about how kick @ss Carl was for two weeks straight!

Yowsa!

I liked how freaked out the interviewer was after Carl finished channeling Danny Gatton (is it just me, or does he even LOOK a little like DG???).

That was some cool, cool playing, and those guitars look GREAT!

Glad to see that Chihoe has moved on...

Cheers, Tim

Carl's an amazing player, no doubt about it ! (But then we already knew that ).

A couple of interesting statements from Mr.Hahn: "They're NOT Teles, they're Tele style guitars". A good argument for the next discussion on the subject ...

This one is sensational though: "The tone mainly comes from the wood and the paint"

Yeah, I know the guy is a luthier, but still ...

Dizzang! I'm bookmarking that vid - as a "How-To-Rock" instructional.

man, I need to take some lessons, or just sell off my guitars (kiiiding)! Tanks for posting all that.

Chihoe certainly made a judicious choice in developing his own shop ;-)
& Carl's playing is just the perfect bookend to the long and strange saga of 'Danny's Guitar'
It's great to see good people doing good things.

Anybody have a Hahn guitar? ... know anything about them ... price range?

The kid's playing is amazing. I didn't know but 7 chords when I was 17. Humbling.

Thanks for posting the video ... I think!

I got to see a couple of Chihoe's guitars in NY a few weeks ago and they're Greaaaaaaaaaaatt, well made and light and thin paint . . . all the goodies.
He's a real nice fella too.

I was so blown away while talking to Chihoe I'm not positive I got this right but I think the guitars start at around $3,000.

I thought there were only three.

Seriously great plying by Carl there. All those fingers on his right hand going... crazy good stuff. Thanks for posting the video.

MM, you did say at one time Carl reminded you of a young Danny Gatton. Yup, I can definitely see the resemblance now.

Amazing playing Carl !!
