String Change

I recently purchased a new '07 American Series which came with 09's. I'm finding them a bit light as I generally use 10's on my other electrics. If I switch to 10's on this guitar will I have to have the set up re-done or will I most likely be ok?

You may want to try D'Addario EXL120+. They are an in between gauge of .095. No set up would be required but you will feel the difference over the 9's. The .095's feel like the 10's on my longer scale Gibsons.

you can go all the way to 11's without any nutwork...or at least ALL my guitars have 11's and needed very little adjustment. 10's feel slinky to me. I go with the "Get the biggest strings you can play comfortably" camp...
