HWY-1 Esquire project

I realize this project is pretty mundane compared to some on here, but I enjoy seeing all the projects big or little, so I figure I'd put mine up too.
This was a "scratch and dent" HWY-1 I found while at Guitar Center getting some strings (sound familiar?). The body had a nasty chip, so it was bought as a repaint project from the start. With all the talk of Esquires, I figured why not try one. The body was repaired with PC Woody (an excellent 2 part wood epoxy), then painted with Krylon "celery". Since these pics it has had the first 3 coats of Deft and now looks very nice and shiny.
I placed my order today with Specialty Guitar for a SD Broadcater, Wht single ply guard, cloth wire, caps, etc. It's gonna get the .01uf cap mentioned in the tech forum for that cocked wah sound on position #3.
I'll post completed pics when it's done if anyone is interested. The other Tele in the pic is my Nocaster fortified HWY-1.

Scott

Nice.

Was that jack stand heavy-duty-enough to hold up that body?

I sure learned a lot about guitar painting on this, those who say "don't rush things" couldn't be more right, every mistake I made was due to just that. This is the 3rd paintjob I've done on this guitar, it finally meets my expectations.
I'll see about a post Deft pic tonight, the Deft darkened the color a little bit. I'll also add a pic once it's done.

Here's a link to the dicussion on the cocked wah Esquire circuit.

I did buy an .0047uf to try, but check your PM's, I'm curious to see what your using.

Well I got my parts in for this build. I managed to wet sand the front face of guitar and buff. I might add this sanding/buffing process is VERY tedious, but it's turning out as good as I could have expected. Will post more as I get closer.
