That's an Excellent way to create interest & bids....low opening Bid, and offering realistic non-inflated shipping...I see way to many w/ a $450.00 Guitar and using $449.95 as the opening bid, and then wondering why their Auction has so few hits.......

Yeah, I've gone back to the old auction ways in just about all of my items. I just sold off a ton of effects and I got great prices for all of them. True market value in my opinion.
There is so much traffic on ebay, that I'm not too worried about not getting a fair price. I suppose there could be a fluke one day, and someone snatch up a $500 item for $200 bucks, but it hasn't happened yet. |
