Squier Tele California Series

Hey guys, i just bought a squier tele california series. But the damn bridge is buzzin like bee...
So, i wuz planning to do a makeover for my guitar, prolly put a new bridge, tuners, and some new pickups...
Do u guys think its a good idea?
Cuz its still just a Chinese guitar, and the body is made up of soft maple according to Fender... I couldn't find a confirmation for that fact anywhere else...

why is the bridge buzzing? is it because of loose adjustment screws? That can be helped... basically, by putting more downwards force on the saddles so the screws don't loosen as much. You can do that by shimming the neck (putting a piece of something in the neck pocket on the side nearest the bridge). This will tilt the neck back, allowing you to keep the same action but raise the saddles.

Hi Joshua, and welcome .

Before you go spending money on new parts for your guitar you should try to find the problem that exists with what you have. It may be something very simple and fixable.
Sure you can upgrade parts later, but if you can find the problem and fix it it will help you learn more about your guitar.
Start with looking for loose screws and saddles (as was suggested above) and also check the pickups and maybe even the truss rod for loosness.

Good luck.
