Congrats! I love the desert sand. I concur regarding the pickguard. i have a buddah-skotch, and I'm eyeing a tortoise red one myself, I prolly go bakelite though...

I think the Baja tele has got the be the best "innovation" or variation of the standard tele...or whatever you want to call it...in many, many years at Fender. Very different from a typical tele, and yet very similar...not an easy thing to accomplish. Looks cool! Congrats!

I saw my first Desert Sand Baja today.I thought it looked like Vanilla Angel Delight...Butterscotch for me please..Enjoy It Bad Porcupine..
