Yeah, I bought those a long time ago thinking they would look cool on something and never got around to using them. I just posted those pics here last week. Where did you see them?

I don't think we ever figured out the best method for cutting a vinyl LP for use as a pickguard the last time this was mentioned.

I wanna try!!

I'd like to have one for my Esquire, but I have to find the right record. Led Zeppelin I maybe? Any tips and tricks would be apprecitated!

No biggie. Not like I have a copyright on the pics. I probably will wish I patented the idea if I start seeing a bunch of guitars showing up with vinyl records as pickguards, though.

I can't help you there. I saw 'em on eBay and bought 'em, thinking I would use them on a couple of guitars I was building. I decided to go 'guardless, though, and I never used 'em. I suppose I should just get rid of 'em because the builds I'm doing now, while Tele-shaped, are not regular Teles and those won't fit.

Scroll saw and a dremel to smooth the edge?
Not sure what would work best as these are pretty brittle.

Use as many screws as possible, or they'll warp to hell and back.
