Dale at Glendale Guitars sent mr a fabulous poster of the cowgirl featured on his website.

It's now on the wall of our local rehearsal and recording studio.

Buy some stuff from Dale and maybe he'll give you a poster for free!

Sue Foley and Kathleen Edwards in the same thread?? You guys are killing me! But I would have to say I lean towards Sue Foley (or would like to). Instead of a photo, here's her website:

Yeah. I've been Telewild lately. My lunch gig said it'd be cool to play the electric instead of the acoustic, so I made the switch real quick. And I did a soul/r&b gig a few weeks ago that felt great.

Now I'm getting some serious Esquire GAS.

Good to see ya hear! North Central Texas Guitar Club Represent!!!

The thread seems to have morphed into Telecaster playing women. With that in mind you have to include Anita Cochran ............. and she's a real player ............ look for her on YouTube.

Well then . . .

Would I get more votes, if I wore a bandana or a cowboy hat?
My clothes are usually tight enough, but I can't do the pink paisley,
it makes me look fat!

Redd ................ I wouldn't change a thing ....... after all, you are the "Best Dressed Musician in Austin". You must be doing something right.

I was looking through your pictures the other day and burst out laughing when I read about the 14 year old genius. I was 23 when I did something similar.

Here's a tele pickguard someone was selling on eBay.

Hopefully it's not too naughty for the forum.
(If it is a mod will delete it, I suppose.)

she isn't a "cowgirl" per se....

but Annie Clark, otherwise known as St. Vincent, former guitarist for Polyphonic Spree and Sufjan Stevens' band was born in Dallas TX where she currently resides as far as I know. She's a Texas girl, that counts for something I think.

I love her music and she has such a presence about her

Real pity it's not a tele though .
What I find acceptable may be a little raunchy for the rules , so i'll only post a link to be on the safe side .

I wonder if you play this guitar in really cold weather causes the neck pickup to have a more 'pronounced' sound...
