That Sam Ash link now points to a bass, which my wife almost bought for me.

The Tele is here, and as Dauntless noted, now out of stock. And none of the other usual suspects have any either. Maybe I'll get one later.

In the meantime, if any of you get one, I'd love to hear what it's like.

'Tis indeed. Its a Shellac "polish" that you apply in several coats. You need to leave it to harden for a while, but when it is finished, it looks JUST like a real vintage finish on your neck...

Thanks Fatman!

I'm going to get some of this stuff and give it a try, while I wait for the reviews of the Squier Classic Vibes.

Seems the pages have been changed at samash.com.
You can search for "classic vibe" to see the whole series or check this link for the tele (if it's still there).
http://www.samash.com/catalog/showit...RCH&GroupCode=

If I lived in the US I would order one pronto.

The 030 prefix is the same one used on the VM SH and SSH models which are crafted in India, but that prefix is also used by the VM Thinline which is crafted in China.

HOLY CRAP!!! It would be blasphemy posting that picture here if it wasn't so freaking cool looking!

I gotta win the lottery, or my wife is going to kill me.

No, I ain't pulling the trigger on this one, but the white pine Tele is a different story.

I think it's really cool they're doing the duosonic in it's original colour. I want it!

But not as cool as them making a pinecaster I guess.

Must be more conversation about these than actual orders.

I ordered a couple online Sunday morning, and they immediately showed "on order".

Called Sam Ash today to see where things stood and they told me that they only had one originally and it was shipping out today, but my order was next up when some come in.

At least they DO seem to observe the "first come-first served" rule.

I'm in Boston and the VMs are all over the place. GC and Daddys' Junky Music, plus all the smaller mom n pops. They're quite solid guitars.

All of these Classic VIbe series are cool.

Just goes to show ya when someone makes something cool and it doesnt cost an arm and a leg to buy then its gonna be a huge seller.

These all have Vintage style tuners too so maybe the tuners will work good.

Im getting a Pine Tele for sure and more than likely a Duosonic also!
