SX STL50 Under The Covers
OK, in my continuing quest for placing a humbucker in a Telecaster type guitar, we are now again investigating doing so in the Rondo SX STL and I need your help.
In response to the question over whether the SX was routed for humbuckers or not I followed the advice of forum members to take a peek under the pickguard. But I'm not certain on what I am seeing so I need your help. Is there room? There seems to be quite a bit more space than what would be taken up by a 3/8 of an inch or so wide single coil p/u. Yes or no? Thanks! ![]()

In the second photo it looks quite clearly like a HB route to me. I can't imagine why they would route it out so much bigger than a SC route and yet not big enough to fit a HB so I'd say it's a safe bet that it will fit a HB.
