Another new guy
Hey everybody,
Great forum you have here. I've been playing guitar for way too many years to be no better than I am but I love it. I've played LP's ( There's a lot of great resources on here. I've spent today just reading through post and picked up a lot of great information. Well, I'm off to the store. I had to make a deal with my dog, for every new piece of gear I get he gets a bag of bones. Man he's getting fat. Jimmy |

Welcome Bro!
What's gonna happen next is: One day you're gonna look at those parts you have left over and decide you need to build another Tele to put them on. You'll probably have to buy a cart for your dog to use to move around lol Don't forget to post pics when the new Tele arrives! |

Well, Jimmy...there's no turning back, now. You'll be hooked. On your Tele, and hanging around with all these Tele-geeks, like myself.
It's a valuable place for advice, information and general excitement about Teles.

My bad, I read 'parts' and I start dreaming of getting that last one and putting together another git. Except this new job has me so busy I have not done more than cut out a leather guard of late, and that is being at home, sick. ['home sick' for the shop that is... |

Thanks for the welcome. I'm still waiting for the guitar and parts to show up so no pics yet.
I ordered a neck, tuners and a couple more things last night and got to thinking (dangerous, I know) why not just order a body too. So, I think I'm gonna just sell the partscaster when it get here, order a body and build one. That is unless the partscaster is great. If thats the case I'll keep it and order a body and build one. Man, I hope the dog don't find out about this. I'm sure I'll have a bunch of questions coming up but I'm looking forward to the upgrades, or build....... Jimmy |
